When you live in the mountains, you’re more connected to nature. The forest and wild plants surround your home and you are immersed in the trees. With nearby hikes and the beauty of nature you can’t help but get outside and enjoy it. You’re more likely to see wildlife which is always really amazing. These majestic animals are something you don’t get to see too often in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Living in the mountains invokes a simple lifestyle. It also helps us disconnect from technology. We feel that life in the mountains is focused more on family and experiences. Homes in the mountains aren’t just for those who want to live off the grid and rough it. There are homes for everyone and their needs. Living in the mountains brings people together and creates new experiences.

One of the fun things about life in the mountains is experiencing the season changes. Here in Southern California we don’t get too much of a change in the different seasons. Our Fall and Winters are generally warmer. But in the mountains (even here in Southern California) you have more of a temperature change. You can fully experience the different seasons and the fun things to do in each season.

Life in the mountains isn’t for everyone. But we definitely think it’s a place to consider living! The mountains are a beautiful place to live and raise a family. It offers a unique experience to the everyday hustle and bustle we’re used to. What are your thoughts on living in the mountains?
